Facility Manager – PDC Warehouse Operations

About the role

Mercedes‑Benz is seeking a Facility Manager to ensure safe, compliant and cost‑effective operation of its PDC warehouse in Toluca. You will lead maintenance activities, manage HSE and regulatory requirements, and support business continuity for warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day facility operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance of critical systems such as power, HVAC and fire protection.
• Coordinate vendors, monitor service‑level agreements and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Lead HSE compliance: conduct inspections, manage corrective actions, oversee contractor safety, permits and audit readiness.
• Manage facility budget, contracts, quotations, purchase requests, cost control, KPI tracking and monthly performance reporting.
• Maintain OEA certification for MBMex, handle internal and external audits, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Handle relationships with federal, state and local authorities, including tax obligations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives: energy and utilities optimization, small projects, emergency response coordination and support for operational changes or expansions.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of facilities management experience in industrial or warehouse environments.
• Proven experience managing vendors, maintenance plans and HSE compliance.
• Advanced language proficiency.
• Availability for on‑call support during emergencies and planned shutdowns.
• Strong contractor‑management and compliance mindset (permit‑to‑work, lockout/tagout).
