Field Engineer

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Field Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of MedTech equipment across Mexico City. The role combines on‑site service at customer locations with depot activities, ensuring equipment performance meets the company’s high standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and equipment modifications in the field and at service centers.
• Execute service visits, coordinate parts and tools, and ensure timely closure of service activities.
• Support complaint handling in line with regulatory and quality processes.
• Collaborate with field service, sales, clinical teams, and customers to improve service delivery.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Clinical Account Specialists.
• Manage company assets such as vehicles, tools, parts inventory, and equipment.
• Maintain complete and accurate physical and digital service records.

Required profile

• Understanding of Johnson & Johnson Credo and commitment to quality, safety, occupational health, and environmental policies.
• Knowledge of local regulations and ability to ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Strong organizational skills for planning visits and documenting service activities.
