Food & Beverage Director – Pre-opening

About the role

The Food & Beverage Director will lead the F&B operation at Soho House Los Cabos, working closely with the General Manager to deliver the brand’s elevated service standards. This pre‑opening position is responsible for shaping the guest experience across the Club, Roof, Events Space and Room Service while driving profitability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to design and implement efficient service systems that enhance member and guest experiences.
• Develop and deliver staff training programmes, product storytelling and “Club School” initiatives to deepen product knowledge.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and consistent brand standards.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and coaching of the F&B team, addressing talent gaps and fostering a polished, approachable service culture.
• Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations and Soho House global standards.
• Identify and launch innovative revenue streams, manage budgets, payroll and labour costs, and monitor financial performance.
• Gather member feedback and work with membership to create initiatives that address concerns and enhance satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in food & beverage operations, with a proven record of leading high‑quality, fast‑paced services.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities, with experience in supervising, coaching and staff development.
• Solid business acumen, capable of budgeting, forecasting and problem‑solving.
• Degree in Hospitality or Restaurant Management preferred but not mandatory.
