Freelance Technical Consultant (AI Data Solutions)

About the role

Toloka AI is seeking a Freelance Technical Consultant to help clients design, implement, and optimise AI data pipelines. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating customer needs into scalable data‑labeling solutions that power leading generative AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, guiding both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Lead discovery sessions to understand client goals, data quality criteria, and model training requirements.
• Design end‑to‑end data‑labeling workflows using Toloka’s platform, including UI components, quality controls, and AI‑driven tooling.
• Configure and integrate synthetic data generation, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) systems, and other automation tools into production pipelines.
• Communicate progress, manage risks, and identify expansion opportunities for additional AI services.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on technical experience in data‑related projects.
• Comfortable working in technical environments and solving problems with Python and AI technologies.
• Strong communication skills, able to engage with both technical teams and executive leadership.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with commercial teams.
