Front Office Manager – Pre‑Opening (Boutique Hotel)

About the role

Soho House is seeking a Front Office Manager to lead the pre‑opening phase of its new boutique hotel in Los Cabos. The role combines high‑level hospitality service with operational excellence, ensuring memorable experiences for members and guests while building a motivated front‑office team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient front‑office processes that enhance guest satisfaction.
• Develop and monitor annual departmental budgets, payroll, expenses, and staffing levels.
• Oversee rooms, concierge, butler, receptionist, and member‑services teams, ensuring service standards are met.
• Manage reservations, evening membership guest lists, and coordinate daily guest communications.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management for front‑office staff.
• Collaborate with the controller and Purchasing Manager to maintain inventory and supply levels.
• Track, resolve, and report guest disputes and claims promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing front‑office operations in a high‑volume boutique hotel.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on staff motivation and development.
• Detail‑oriented, able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; bilingual ability is a plus.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera property management system.
• Experience using Salesforce.
• Familiarity with OpenTable.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets.
