GBS Consultant – Americas Delivery Mexico

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Global Business Services (GBS) Consultant to join our Americas Delivery Mexico (ADMX) team in Queretaro. The role focuses on supporting shared‑services transformation projects for Deloitte clients, helping them improve operational efficiency and deliver business value.

Key responsibilities

• Document and map current‑state and future‑state business processes across finance, procurement, IT and other shared‑services functions.
• Create detailed process maps, workflow diagrams and SOPs using Microsoft Visio.
• Identify gaps, redundancies and improvement opportunities and support the development of business cases, cost‑benefit analyses and ROI calculations.
• Collect, analyse and interpret operational data to spot trends, inefficiencies and performance gaps.
• Assist in preparing benchmarking reports, KPI and SLA tracking, and client communications in English.
• Maintain awareness of AI tools and propose automation or enhancement opportunities within client processes.
• Support senior consultants and managers in tracking deliverables, timelines, risks and workshop organization.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a consultant in Global Business Services or Shared Services environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work independently and guide junior team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Queretaro with limited travel requirements.

Required skills
