General Manager – Pre-opening

About the role

The General Manager will lead the pre‑opening phase and ongoing operations of Soho House Los Cabos, ensuring operational efficiency, exceptional member and guest experiences, staff retention, and profitability. As the brand ambassador, you will embody Soho House’s ethos while driving culture, service excellence, and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and partnership to internal and external stakeholders, setting and reviewing business objectives.
• Monitor daily and weekly operational and financial performance, delivering reports and action plans to optimise profit and minimise margins.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and local regulations, partnering with relevant leaders.
• Collaborate with Head Office functions—including HR, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Marketing, Finance, Housekeeping, and Facilities—to drive processes, sales, and retention.
• Oversee planning and execution of major events and property projects, such as seasonal conversions and off‑site festivals.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems that enhance operations, service quality, and member satisfaction.
• Support annual marketing initiatives and partnership activities across Membership, Food & Drink, and Finance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of experience managing high‑volume Food & Beverage operations.
• Proven track record of leading large teams in a hospitality environment.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyse financial data and drive profitability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
