About the role

The EHS and Services Manager will lead the development and execution of environmental, health, safety and related service strategies for BASF's Puebla site. The role supports multiple site functions, ensuring compliance with governmental, corporate and partner requirements while safeguarding people, assets and the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain corporate standards, policies and programs for ecology, hygiene and safety across the site.
• Manage process safety, asset security, energy use, waste handling and general services to meet strategic EHS objectives.
• Administer risk identification, documentation, elimination and follow‑up programs for facilities, processes and chemical products.
• Coordinate emergency response activities and ensure readiness for site‑specific incidents.
• Provide EHS support to all site areas and business units, aligning actions with regulatory and corporate expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading EHS functions within an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, occupational health and safety standards.
• Ability to develop and enforce policies that drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams and external authorities.
