Graduate Pharmacovigilance Associate

About the role

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Graduate Pharmacovigilance Associate for a home-based position in Mexico City (CDMX). You will work in a sponsor-dedicated model, supporting the safety monitoring and reporting of pharmaceutical products. ICON describes itself as the world's largest FSP organisation, with over 90 sponsor partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Take responsibility for pharmacovigilance and drug safety deliverables, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Support the collection, review and processing of adverse event data in line with pharmacovigilance regulations and company procedures.
• Assist in preparing and submitting safety reports to regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share safety information accurately and on time.
• Help develop and maintain pharmacovigilance documentation, such as standard operating procedures and safety management plans.
• Take part in training and development activities to learn pharmacovigilance practices and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, life sciences or a related field.
• Relevant pharmacovigilance and drug safety experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, able to manage several tasks and prioritise.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of pharmacovigilance principles and regulatory guidelines is desirable but not required; training will be provided.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
