Guest Experience & PR Host

About the role

Bar Ligaya, an upscale LGBTQ+ cocktail bar in San José del Cabo, is seeking a Guest Experience & PR Host to shape the venue’s atmosphere and attract the right clientele. You will blend public‑relations activities with on‑site hospitality to ensure every guest feels welcomed and the bar becomes a must‑visit destination.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with luxury‑hospitality partners, VIP guests, and local tastemakers.
• Curate the guest flow during peak evenings (Thursday‑Saturday), delivering a seamless and elevated arrival experience.
• Lead networking and PR initiatives, including hotel visits, concierge outreach, and guest acquisition.
• Maintain the bar’s energy and social dynamic, ensuring a polished first impression each night.
• Collaborate with the Bar Ligaya team to position the venue as a talked‑about hotspot in Los Cabos.

Required profile

• Experience in high‑end venues, nightlife, or hospitality environments.
• Strong personal network or ability to build one quickly.
• Excellent taste, timing, and social awareness.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Comfortable operating in diverse, inclusive, and upscale settings.

• Monthly salary of 19,000 MXN (gross) plus 800 MXN grocery vouchers.
