Health, Safety & Environment Specialist – Occupational Health Practitioner

About the role

Join Mondelēz International in Mexico as a Health, Safety & Environment Specialist. You will deliver primary care services on‑site, lead the health program and help create a safer, healthier workplace for all employees.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care to site personnel and manage both work‑related and non‑work‑related injuries and illnesses.
• Coordinate preventative health and wellness initiatives to reduce injury rates.
• Deliver emergency response, resuscitation and stabilization for critically ill or injured patients.
• Develop and maintain health‑related policies, SOPs and training programs.
• Manage, maintain and audit medical equipment, consumables and medicines in compliance with legal standards.
• Assess plant health risks, implement preventive measures and oversee required testing programs per local legislation.

Required profile

• Qualified Doctor or Nursing Practitioner with relevant occupational health or claims‑management qualifications.
• Diploma or degree in OHS, injury management, ergonomics, rehabilitation or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in occupational safety and health, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in injury management, rehabilitation and workers‑compensation legislation.
