HR Advisor – Talent Acquisition & HR Operations

About the role

AkzoNobel is seeking a proactive HR Advisor to support its manufacturing site in Apodaca, Nuevo León. The role blends end‑to‑end talent acquisition across Mexico with hands‑on involvement in broader HR functions, giving you exposure to recruitment, employee relations, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruitment for all functions across Mexico, partnering with hiring managers to source, interview and assess candidates.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Advise leaders on performance, development and employee‑related matters.
• Support labor and union relations at the Apodaca site.
• Maintain accurate HR data and process transactions in SuccessFactors and other HR systems.
• Participate in HR compliance activities, audits and IATF/ISO requirements.
• Collaborate with local, regional and global HR teams to improve processes and employee experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in HR and/or Talent Acquisition.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly valued.
• Fluent English and strong communication, organization and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive, customer‑focused mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
