Human Resources Internship - Recruitment

About the role

ABB is offering a Human Resources internship within its Electrification Division in Apodaca, Mexico. The internship is a temporary work placement reporting to the HR Operations Specialist, working onsite. It gives students hands-on experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, with exposure to real HR processes in an industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment and selection processes for operational and blue-collar positions
• Assist with candidate screening, interviews and recruitment follow-up
• Help administer and track candidate and employee files
• Follow up on open positions according to business and staffing needs
• Take part in talent attraction activities and recruitment events
• Support the onboarding of new employees
• Assist with recruitment reports, metrics and follow-up
• Learn about benefits, compensation schemes and employment conditions for operational employees

Required profile

• Active student pursuing a degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, Business Management or a related field
• One year or less remaining until graduation
• Intermediate English
• Interest in building a career in Human Resources or recruitment
• Proactive, organized, responsible and eager to learn
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
