HR Operations Specialist (Afternoon Shift)

About the role

ABB is hiring an HR Operations Specialist for its Electrification Business in Juarez, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. The position reports to the HR Business Partner and covers day-to-day HR transactions for one or several service lines or countries, including complex and escalated cases. It is an on-site role.

Key responsibilities

• Complete, accurate and timely HR transactions to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
• Support global HR operations standards and ensure business processes comply with local laws and regulations.
• Deliver HR services in line with agreed processes, KPIs and quality targets, with end-to-end ownership.
• Act as an expert in complex cases and projects, collaborating across countries and functions.
• Identify process gaps, handle root cause analysis and recommend improvements.
• Perform control tasks independently, including 4-eye checks, SOX checks, data protection and legal/regulatory compliance checks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in similar roles (HR Generalist and Labor Relations).
• Experience managing cafeteria and transportation service providers.
• Knowledge of the Federal Labor Law (LFT) and Internal Labor Regulations (RIT).
• Experience with unionized personnel, workplace incidents, disciplinary actions and metrics such as turnover and absenteeism.
• HR experience in a manufacturing company.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Availability to work the weekend shift (3 PM - 11 PM, Monday to Friday).
