HR Business Partner - Labor Relations

About the role

ABB is hiring an HR Business Partner for its Electrification Distributed Systems business in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. The role reports to the HR Business Partner and works onsite. It supports a defined team or location by partnering with managers, representing HR in the business and building strong relationships with business leaders and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure an effective HR contribution and value-add to the business in partnership with the functions and Shared Services.
• Support the business and the end-to-end employee lifecycle by delivering the best approach in the area of responsibility and executing HR priorities.
• Partner with managers to develop and implement people strategies.
• Facilitate change management initiatives and drive behavior change and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 8-12 years of progressive HR business partnership experience (performance and talent management, talent acquisition, learning and development, HR management technology, engagement).
• Solid knowledge of local employment and labor laws to ensure compliance.
• Experience supporting an organization through transformation, with comfort with ambiguity and change management techniques.
• Strategy and planning experience.
• Experience coaching and giving feedback to leaders and employees at all levels.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Psychology, Business or a related field.
• Advanced English communication skills.
