HR Business Partner

About the role

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances and health & biosciences, is looking for a strategic HR Business Partner to join its People & Culture team in Mexico City. In this highly visible position you will partner with business leaders to design and execute people strategies that support growth, engagement and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with leaders to develop people strategies aligned with long‑term business objectives.
• Provide counsel on talent management, workforce planning, compensation, benefits and employee relations.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, development and retention initiatives for a site population of 200‑300 employees.
• Ensure implementation of company policies and compliance with local labour regulations.
• Coach managers on performance management, talent development and organizational challenges.
• Partner with Centres of Expertise to deliver integrated HR solutions.
• Support local administration of hiring, compensation, benefits, training, health, safety and security programs.
• Participate in labour‑relations activities and assist with collective bargaining agreements where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional HR experience, including at least 3 years in a broad‑based HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role.
• Experience supporting a workforce of 200‑300 employees in a corporate environment.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with leaders in a complex, global organization.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, talent management, compensation, benefits and organizational development.
