HR Business Partner – Part‑time (Mexico)

About the role

Blend is seeking a part‑time HR Business Partner to help launch and scale its new Mexico office. You will be responsible for establishing core HR processes, ensuring compliance with local labor regulations, and supporting day‑to‑day people operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement HR policies, processes, and operational practices for the new office.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address employee experience, compliance, and local HR operations.
• Provide guidance on Mexican labor law and HR best practices.
• Execute core HR activities such as onboarding, off‑boarding, employee lifecycle changes, and documentation management.
• Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems and generate reports, dashboards, and audit‑ready documentation.
• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers, delivering timely support.
• Identify and drive improvements to HR workflows and support internal communications.

Required profile

• 4+ years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner in a multinational environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican labor regulations and hands‑on HR operations experience.
• Demonstrated experience launching or setting up HR functions for a new office.
• High attention to detail, strong ownership, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.
