HR Specialist – Employee Relations & Payroll

About the role

We are a global industrial solutions provider expanding in Mexico and looking for an HR Specialist to support our new operations in Querétaro. This on‑site position focuses on employee relations, payroll, and HR service delivery across locations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries and manage day‑to‑day employee relations.
• Coordinate onboarding, off‑boarding and the full employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with Mexican labor law.
• Work with external payroll vendors to process accurate payroll, validate inputs, and administer statutory benefits (IMSS, INFONAVIT).
• Execute and standardise HR operational processes such as hires, transfers and terminations.
• Maintain employee data in SAP SuccessFactors, support system workflows and contribute to HRIS optimisation.
• Provide shared HR services for both Mexico City and Querétaro sites, ensuring consistent service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in HR operations or an HR shared services centre.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law and HR compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

• SuccessFactors (SAP HRIS) – data maintenance and workflow support.
• Payroll processing and statutory benefits administration.
