Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist will manage core employee‑lifecycle processes for a manufacturing plant, ensuring the workforce is aligned with production plans and that all legal obligations are met. This role serves as a primary point of contact for staff, fostering a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment, conduct interviews and psychometric tests for operational and administrative positions.
• Payroll Administration: Gather attendance data, process payroll, and verify correct application of benefits and deductions.
• Labor Relations: Address employee concerns, apply disciplinary actions per Federal Labor Law, and coordinate terminations and settlements.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs, support training plans, and ensure compliance with STPS reporting (Form DC‑3).
• Records & Onboarding: Keep employee files current, manage hires, terminations, and salary changes with IDSE/IMSS.
• Organizational Culture & Climate: Organize integration events, run work‑climate surveys, and assist with NOM‑035 implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations or related field.
• 3‑5 years of HR generalist experience in manufacturing, especially with operational staff.
• Strong knowledge of Federal Labor Law, Social Security Law, INFONAVIT and FONACOT.
• Experience with payroll/HR systems such as Contpaqi Payroll and SAP SuccessFactors.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Intermediate English for interview participation and basic reporting.
