About the role

The Senior Data Scientist will work in digital manufacturing, using sensor data, frontline worker solutions, and quality systems to create advanced analytics, predictive models, and AI applications that boost productivity, reduce waste, and lower operating costs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise‑scale machine‑learning, deep‑learning, generative AI and AI‑agent solutions for production line optimization.
• Lead projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring reliable operation in a manufacturing environment.
• Apply statistical methods, data visualization, and predictive maintenance techniques to improve product quality and utility efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical AI workflows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience delivering enterprise‑level data‑science solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Industrial Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to tell a story with data.

Required skills

• Expert‑level Python programming.
• Machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI frameworks.
• Cloud ML platforms such as Databricks and AWS SageMaker.
• Deployment of ML/AI applications on AWS or Databricks.
• Strong understanding of database systems, data structures, and data processing techniques.
• Familiarity with OPC‑UA, MQTT and other industrial automation protocols (advantage).
