IT Service Desk Technician

About the role

Join a global leader in optical innovation as an IT Service Desk Technician. You will provide first‑ and second‑level support to plant users, ensuring reliable access to IT services, workplace technology, and critical business systems in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first and second‑level technical support for hardware, software, network, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Deploy, configure, maintain, and upgrade desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Support HP print environments, managed print services, server rooms, network equipment, and APC UPS systems, including preventive maintenance and vendor coordination.
• Manage incidents and service requests through the corporate IT Service Management platform, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors, documenting procedures and solutions.
• Identify and implement improvements to IT services and automate processes.

Required profile

• Associate’s, technical, or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, service desk, or desktop support.
• Strong experience with Windows‑based environments and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Advanced English communication skills.
