Junior Accounts Payable Analyst

About the role

Join SAMY as a Junior Accounts Payable Analyst, reporting to the Senior Finance Specialist. You will support AP processes for SAMY Mexico and the US, ensuring accurate invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, and compliance with Mexican tax requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Process, review, and record supplier invoices from Mexico and the US.
• Manage payment layouts, bank reconciliations, and payment processes.
• Review Mexican tax requirements, including withholdings for individuals.
• Communicate and follow‑up with suppliers, particularly influencers.
• Handle financial information in USD and MXN, identifying discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.
• Support automation and improvement of AP processes, understanding the accounting logic behind transactions.

Required profile

• Degree or studies in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in Accounts Payable.
• Knowledge of Mexican tax requirements, especially individual withholdings.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, autonomy, and proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with NetSuite (preferred).
• Familiarity with banking platforms.
• English proficiency for written communication with Miami‑based company.
