Junior IT Support & System Administrator

About the role

The Junior IT Support & System Administrator provides first‑line technical assistance to employees across several office locations. You will ensure reliable access to hardware, software, network resources and collaboration tools while supporting onboarding, off‑boarding and basic network troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for hardware, software and peripheral issues, diagnosing and resolving user problems.
• Configure, deploy and maintain workstations, laptops and mobile devices for new hires and retrieve assets from departing staff.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, email groups and access controls in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Active Directory.
• Assist with system updates, security patches, hardware upgrades and routine backups.
• Monitor and report infrastructure issues at local sites to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software licenses and IT assets across all locations.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity problems, including Wi‑Fi, VPN, switches and printers.
• Create and keep up‑to‑date documentation for IT processes, troubleshooting steps and user guides.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day interactions with IT vendors and provide limited after‑hours emergency support.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in IT support or system administration.
• Fluent English (bilingual requirement).
• Programming knowledge, preferably Python.
