Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of automotive components. The role focuses on 3D modeling, surface design, mechanical part design, and product integration using CATIA V5.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer requirements and engineering specifications under senior guidance.
• Create and modify 3D components and assemblies using CATIA V5, including Part Design and Generative Shape Design.
• Prepare and update 2D engineering drawings and apply basic GD&T principles.
• Support design changes, tolerance stack‑up activities, and documentation of engineering decisions.
• Assist with product validation, testing feedback, and implementation of design improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design or a related engineering role.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in CATIA V5.
• Fundamental knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Advanced English communication skills and willingness to learn.

• ASME Y14.5 standards and tolerance stack‑up analysis
• Basic knowledge of plastic component design and injection molding
