Lead Attorney

About the role

Solstice is seeking a Lead Attorney to provide legal guidance across procurement, supply chain, and commercial activities. Reporting to the Procurement Assistant General Counsel, you will work on a hybrid basis from our Mexico City (Santa Fe) or San Pedro Garza García office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on a wide range of matters, including disputes, enforcement, and risk mitigation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex global agreements with vendors covering IT licenses, SaaS, consulting, outsourcing, HR, marketing, R&D, engineering, HSE and other services.
• Identify and prioritize risk elements in contract negotiations and implement mitigation strategies.
• Interpret new laws and regulations and assess their impact on business operations.
• Coach and develop junior lawyers and perform due‑diligence work.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years of experience practicing law.
• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and uphold ethical conduct.
