About the role
The Lead Auditor will join the Audit & Compliance department to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes across a global portfolio of financial services activities.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute internal audit assignments as Lead Auditor, including developing audit work programs and conducting walkthroughs.
- Perform interviews, sample testing, and control assessments to evaluate design and operational effectiveness.
- Prepare clear audit reports and working papers, communicating findings and recommendations.
- Support the implementation of management action plans and contribute to the company’s overall risk assessment and annual audit plan.
- Work independently and collaboratively, maintaining impartial relationships with auditees and interacting with all organizational levels.
- Participate in special audit and non‑audit projects as required.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, or a related business discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum eight years of experience in captive financial services, banking, or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of banking, financial services, insurance operations, procedures, policies, and relevant regulations.
- Fluent in advanced English; additional language (French, Portuguese, Spanish, German) is a plus.
- Internal audit certifications (e.g., CIA, CISO, CRMA, CFE) are advantageous.
