Lean Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Rockwell Automation is hiring a Lean Manufacturing Engineer in Monterrey, reporting to the Continuous Improvement Leader. The role ensures the Rockwell Operational Excellence (ROX) initiative through analysis and strategy planning, and develops a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Reach productivity goals through projects development and management focused on actual priorities.
• Provide strategy for the site and promote the creation and tracking of indicators.
• Lead on continuous improvement, Connected Enterprise and FTPC.
• Manage the Ideas System and deploy communications to spread the culture.
• Support leaders and individuals for HPTs and work on projects for monthly deliverables.
• Define clear goals for tracking progress on continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and communicate the recognition system and nurture growth and development.
• Promote Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and strategies oriented to operational excellence.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in the continuous improvement area.
• Industrial Engineering degree or a related engineering discipline.
• Lean knowledge; Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred).

Preferred qualifications

• Experience providing Lean training in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean Coach.
• Advanced English.
• Ability to peer and lead teams.
• SAP experience.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
