Legal & Compliance Manager – MX & LATAM

About the role

We are looking for a Legal and Compliance Manager to support our Legal and Compliance Director for Mexico and LATAM operations. The role will provide legal advice, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with local regulations across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on labor, civil, commercial, corporate and antitrust matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate simple and complex contracts while mitigating risk.
• Manage litigation with external counsel, aligning strategy, controlling costs and reporting progress.
• Act as a legal business partner, representing the Legal Department with internal stakeholders.
• Lead implementation and ongoing management of Ethics & Compliance policies at the local level.
• Deliver mandatory and ad‑hoc compliance and legal training based on risk assessments.
• Collaborate with global Centers of Excellence and other Legal team members.
• Identify, anticipate and manage legal risks related to business strategies and operations.
• Maintain awareness of internal policies, applicable laws and regulations through guidance and communications.
• Support Legal Department governance, including SharePoint, document organization and external provider payments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Labor Law; Master’s degree or specialized studies in Labor Law preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills, confident, composed and highly organized.
