Legal Counsel – Commercial Law & Projects

About the role

Efficio is seeking a Legal Counsel to support client‑facing legal projects and commercial engagements across its procurement and supply‑chain consultancy. The role will work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, business‑oriented legal solutions in commercial law and project‑related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements.
• Provide legal support on commercial and project‑related issues throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Assist internal teams with legal advice for ongoing projects and contract transformation initiatives.
• Support business development activities from a legal perspective, including client relationship management.
• Contribute to the implementation and use of Legal AI tools within the legal function.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners as required.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer in Mexico (law degree and Cédula Profesional).
• 3–4 years of post‑qualification experience, with demonstrable expertise in commercial law and project‑based work.
• Familiarity with Legal AI tools and emerging legal technologies.
• Interest in business development and client relationship management.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus.
