Local Case Intake Advisor – English & French (12‑month contract)

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking a Local Case Intake Advisor to join the GBS Patient Safety team in Guadalajara for a 12‑month fixed‑term assignment. The role supports local marketing companies and acts as a key liaison between local teams and the global patient safety function, ensuring adverse event reporting is accurate, efficient, and fully compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Intake, review, process, and report Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) from clinical and post‑marketing sources.
• Ensure compliance with Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP), AstraZeneca procedures, and local health‑authority requirements.
• Support regulatory authority queries, data reconciliations, literature and database screening as needed.
• Participate in quality and compliance activities, audit and inspection readiness, and documentation archiving.
• Collaborate with internal teams, service providers, and external stakeholders to maintain high‑quality pharmacovigilance operations.

Required profile

• A degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related scientific field.
• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance processes and health‑authority regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Collaborative, cross‑functional working style.
• Experience with vendor management, audit/inspection support, or project work is a plus.

Required skills

• Argus pharmacovigilance software (advantageous).
