Local Case Intake Advisor (English & Portuguese) – GBS Patient Safety

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking a Local Case Intake Advisor to support its GBS Patient Safety function in Guadalajara. The role ensures that adverse event reports are processed accurately, efficiently, and in full regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Intake, review, process, and report Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) from clinical and post‑marketing sources.
• Maintain compliance with Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP), AstraZeneca procedures, and local health‑authority requirements.
• Respond to regulatory authority queries and perform reconciliations.
• Conduct literature and database screening as needed.
• Support quality, compliance, audit, and inspection readiness activities.
• Manage documentation, archiving, and collaboration with internal teams, service providers, and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or a science‑related field.
• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance processes and health‑authority regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative, cross‑functional working style.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.
• Experience with vendor management, audit/inspection support, project work, or Argus is a plus.
