Logistics Coordinator – Automotive Production

About the role

Join BMW Group as a Logistics Coordinator and help ensure a flawless flow of materials for series production. You will combine precise data management with proactive supplier interaction to keep the production line running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise master data in MRP systems to guarantee seamless parts supply across all production technologies.
• Monitor daily delivery performance, track urgent shipments, and follow up with suppliers to resolve bottlenecks and avoid line stops.
• Manage supply models and coordinate engineering changes across plants to keep material control up‑to‑date.
• Oversee plant delivery performance, handle supplier claims, and recover costs from delivery failures.
• Provide transparent reporting on parts availability, order status, and change management for management teams.

Required profile

• Proactive professional with a digital‑forward mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Business.
• At least 2 years of experience in automotive logistics.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Spanish.
