Supply Chain Scheduler

About the role

The Supply Chain Scheduler is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels of raw materials and component families. You will ensure that materials are available to meet the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and customer demand while driving continuous improvement in inventory reduction and supplier service.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily inventory levels and follow up on MPS achievement.
• Define and implement inventory reduction actions for assigned component families.
• Measure Supplier Service Rate (SSR) and develop improvement plans.
• Forecast raw material and component requirements based on Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) and MPS.
• Communicate weekly forecasts to suppliers and track material arrivals against firm orders.
• Participate in Logistics/Purchasing meetings and support implementation of pull flow, Kanban, EDI, and milk‑run processes.
• Collaborate with external flow analysts on inbound transportation planning.
• Support inventory counting, ensure ERP data accuracy, and act as backup for supplier accounts.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate supply chain impacts.
• Excellent communication skills for regular interaction with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can identify blocking points and implement quick actions.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Purchasing, Logistics, Production, and Sales.
