Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Specialist joins Flowserve’s Global Logistics team to manage logistics requirements across multiple sites in an assigned region. This role ensures that site‑specific logistics strategies align with business objectives and support operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all transportation, 3PL/4PL services and modes (international and domestic) using the Logistics Data Repository.
• Implement processes and procedures in line with the global logistics vision and strategy.
• Ensure compliance with global logistics policies and provide training on logistics requirements such as project management, process improvement, negotiation, sourcing, metrics reporting, Incoterms, and “lost profit” analysis.
• Participate in sourcing events from needs analysis to provider onboarding, including data collection, RFQ preparation, analysis, selection and implementation.
• Manage escalation processes to resolve logistics issues affecting site performance.
• Analyze large and complex data sets to assess logistics performance, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and deliver actionable insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing transportation and third‑party logistics services.
• Strong analytical ability to work with large data sets and generate performance insights.
• Excellent partnership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
