Loyalty Strategic Finance Manager

About the role

Viva is seeking a Loyalty Strategic Finance Manager to own the economics of its loyalty currency and turn it into a profitable business. You will lead the full planning cycle, build and maintain the financial model, and ensure every decision meets the required return standards.

Key responsibilities

• Run the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning cycles end‑to‑end.
• Own and continuously improve the financial model that links business drivers to the P&L and simulates major decisions.
• Set economic parameters such as return thresholds, issuance and redemption price ranges, cost of the point, and spend criteria.
• Define business‑case requirements, draft cases for new initiatives and partnerships, and measure actual returns.
• Present and defend program results to senior management, including monthly results and quarterly value reports.
• Manage the points liability model, breakage assumptions, and exposure.
• Identify and drive value‑creation opportunities in cost, margin, and cash across the program.
• Maintain financial governance, including closes, purchase orders, revenue cycles with partners, operating policies, and controls.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or Business Administration; Master’s in Finance is a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency with strong verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical capability and experience building financial models.
• Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Prior experience with loyalty programs is a plus.
