Manager, Content & Social Media Strategy

About the role

This senior position leads content and social media strategy for a global music brand across Latin America and Europe. Based in Mexico, you will shape culturally relevant storytelling, drive audience growth, and ensure brand consistency while adapting narratives for local markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term social media and content strategies for Latin American and European markets.
• Lead planning, creation, and rollout of multi‑platform initiatives such as educational series, artist features, videos, blogs, newsletters and campaigns.
• Produce culturally relevant storytelling in Spanish, acting as the primary content voice for Latin American audiences.
• Manage content calendars, ensuring consistent publishing schedules across regions and platforms.
• Oversee production of key projects from concept through execution, including scriptwriting and multimedia asset development.
• Drive audience growth through innovative campaigns, influencer collaborations and emerging platforms.
• Monitor, analyze and report performance metrics, providing actionable insights.
• Manage community engagement and represent the brand at industry events.
• Mentor junior team members and interns.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in social media, content marketing or digital marketing.
• At least 2 years leading content strategies, campaigns or cross‑functional digital initiatives.
• Strong expertise in social media strategy, audience development and digital storytelling.
• Fluent Spanish with excellent written communication skills.
