Material Planning Associate

About the role

Alstom is looking for a Material Planning Associate to join its Mexico City team. You will help ensure a smooth flow of materials across the supply chain, working closely with procurement, logistics and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage purchase orders to guarantee timely delivery of materials.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues or delays in the procurement process.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align material availability with production schedules.
• Identify and resolve potential supply‑chain bottlenecks.
• Optimize material planning processes to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience or solid understanding of procurement processes and purchase‑order management.
• Familiarity with SAP and other supply‑chain management tools.
• Strong passion and proactive attitude.
