Mental Health / Behavior Health Clinician (Contract, Telehealth)

About the role

Delfina Medical Group is hiring a Mental Health / Behavior Health Clinician for a contract position providing mental health clinical services to maternal care patients. The work is 100% virtual, with a time commitment of 2-8 hours per week initially, and flexible hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide telemedicine-based treatment of perinatal mood disorders for pregnant and postpartum patients, starting with one-on-one encounters and with possible group therapy options later
• Offer live and asynchronous patient support
• Use evidence-based techniques proven effective and safe in the perinatal space
• Apply technology to improve patient education and outcomes
• Help build systems and processes that deliver safe, effective care and better patient engagement

Required profile

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed to practice in New Mexico; active New Mexico Medicaid registration is a plus
• 3+ years in active patient care and previous telemedicine experience
• Available for intermittent phone and video meetings with Delfina Medical Group
• Fluent in English; Spanish highly preferred
• Unrestricted, independent authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship)

What we offer

• Pay of $65-80 USD per hour, depending on location, skills, experience, education and training
