Virtual Pregnancy Doula (Contract, New Mexico)

About the role

Delfina Medical Group is hiring a contract Delfina Doula to act as a virtual health coach supporting pregnant patients and new moms during their pregnancy and postpartum journey. The role is based in New Mexico and works alongside the Care Delivery manager to run patient engagement and coaching protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Care Delivery manager to carry out patient engagement and coaching protocols on a weekly basis
• Make sure patients stay engaged and participate in care for both pregnant patients and new mothers
• Help patients follow recommended care protocols and tracking as defined by the healthcare provider or organization

Required profile

• Experience in pregnancy, birth and postpartum care
• Supportive approach to providing virtual support, both one-to-one and in groups
• Certification such as DONA (Birth, CD or CBE), ICEA, CAPPA or ProDoula
• Fluent English; Spanish is highly preferred
• Knowledge of New Mexico communities is a plus
• Unrestricted and independent authorization to work in the United States; U.S. work authorization sponsorship is not offered

Required skills

• Strong communication and conversational skills
• Experience with web and mobile technologies
• Telehealth experience is a plus

• Pay of $30-35 USD per hour, depending on location, skills, experience, education and training
