MRO Intern

About the role

Join Airbus Helicopters Mexico as an MRO Intern and gain hands‑on experience supporting preventive and corrective helicopter maintenance. Working under the direct supervision of certified technicians, you will learn aviation safety standards, technical quality procedures, and the day‑to‑day workflow of a high‑performance MRO hub.

Key responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians with maintenance tasks on components, sub‑components, and systems, applying Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives.
• Study technical documentation and manufacturer manuals to become familiar with aviation safety and quality standards.
• Prepare required parts and tools for daily work orders and support inventory checks.
• Observe and practice standard techniques such as torqueing, safety wiring, and repairs under direct guidance.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas, complying with the 5S program.
• Assist with inventory verification of standard tools and ground support equipment, reporting any anomalies.
• Record information in aircraft documentation (logbooks or internal forms) under supervisor validation.
• Participate in training sessions and safety briefings, and promptly report any unsafe conditions.

Required profile

• Active student in the final term of an engineering, aviation, or related technical program.
• No prior work experience required; internship aimed at students seeking practical exposure.
• Strong interest in aerospace maintenance and willingness to learn under supervision.
