Técnico Mecánico de Helicópteros (MRO)

About the role

Airbus seeks a Mechanical Technician to ensure the safe flight of helicopters through comprehensive maintenance activities. You will work on helicopters, their components and systems, following strict technical documentation and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all assigned maintenance tasks on helicopters, components, sub‑components and systems.
• Execute work in accordance with manufacturer procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins and technical instructions.
• Identify required parts, tools and estimate time for each maintenance action.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following the 5S methodology.
• Keep common and special tools, measuring equipment and ground support equipment in optimal condition and report any defects.
• Record all work performed in the aircraft documentation and comply with the company’s safety policies.
• Report safety events promptly and follow emergency protocols.

Required profile

• Valid Maintenance Technician Class I license with a rating for rotary‑wing aircraft issued by the aeronautical authority.
• Demonstrated capability to carry out maintenance tasks on helicopters and related equipment.
• Commitment to safety, quality standards and continuous training.
• Ability to work collaboratively and support team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency in torquing, safety wiring, repair procedures and heat‑treatment techniques.
• Knowledge of airworthiness directives, service bulletins and manufacturer technical documentation.
• Experience with measuring instruments, ground support equipment and 5S housekeeping.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance for aerospace maintenance.
