.NET Architect

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Engineering Lead to rebuild a complex legacy financial platform from the ground up. This greenfield modernization project will deliver a scalable, modular architecture using a .NET backend, React frontend, SQL Server, and cloud services (Azure or AWS), laying the foundation for future AI‑powered features.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a senior engineering team to achieve feature parity and modernize the platform end‑to‑end.
• Define and drive architecture decisions that balance quality, scalability, and speed.
• Facilitate dynamic workshops with stakeholders (JADx) to shape solutions.
• Implement AI‑assisted development workflows with tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Mentor engineers and uphold high standards in code quality, testing, security, and cloud deployment.
• Translate legacy system behaviors and business workflows into clean, modern implementations.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on leadership experience with .NET backend and modern React frontend.
• Strong SQL Server expertise and experience with Azure or AWS.
• Experience designing modular, service‑based architectures, including BFF patterns.
• Ability to lead teams from high‑level specifications in an autonomous, collaborative environment.
• Practical use of AI‑assisted engineering tools in real project delivery.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Bonus: background in financial services or rebuilding legacy enterprise applications; familiarity with Joint Application Development (JAD) methods.
