Node.js Developer (Digital Marketing)

About the role

The engineer will join a global client’s development team working on an AdTech platform that enables marketers to plan and activate cross‑channel programmatic campaigns. The platform is built with Node.js and PHP and the role focuses on delivering new product features, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, test and deploy backend services and web applications.
• Build performant, scalable solutions for high‑volume distributed systems.
• Work with server‑side technologies, primarily Node.js and PHP (Laravel).
• Collaborate with engineering, product managers and business stakeholders to improve the technology stack.
• Design and document system architecture and technical specifications.
• Participate in Agile development processes and own assigned software projects.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Support troubleshooting and resolve production issues in Linux environments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial experience in backend development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Node.js.
• Experience with service‑to‑service integrations and web‑based system design.
• Solid understanding of Linux‑based environments.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
