Operations Team Leader

About the role

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking an Operations Team Leader to drive operational excellence in its manufacturing plant in San Jose Iturbide, Guanajuato. You will lead a high‑performing team, manage daily production schedules, and ensure top‑tier customer service while supporting safety, quality, and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Champion safety by enforcing EOHS policies, conducting observations, leading incident investigations, and executing emergency response plans.
• Uphold quality standards, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines, cGMP, and Good Documentation Practices.
• Maintain process integrity through line validation, proper cleaning, and strict adherence to SOPs.
• Manage change management (MOC), report non‑conformities, and execute CAPAs for failure investigations.
• Lead daily operations, facilitate shift handovers, and participate in performance meetings.
• Analyze material losses and optimize resources using FP&R guidelines and data tools such as OPERA and Tableau.
• Sustain 5S and Visual Workplace standards, conducting regular audits.
• Support maintenance by overseeing planned schedules and resolving equipment issues promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing personnel or teams.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in English.
