Packaging Design and Development Engineer

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a Packaging Design and Development Engineer to join its Toluca plant. You will be responsible for creating, validating and managing packaging solutions for both finished products and raw materials, ensuring they meet customer and supplier specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate packaging for finished goods and raw materials.
• Generate drawings, sketches and packaging component specifications.
• Implement engineering change requests (ECR) and technical change memos (TCM) for packaging releases.
• Maintain packaging data in SAP, including GOOD, MM, ZDUN and ZREV transactions.
• Create and manage packing sheets, control files and barcode label catalogs.
• Coordinate with outsourcing partners for packaging tracking, cleaning, assembly and delivery.
• Perform returnable loopback calculations and issue EBP requests for reusable packaging.
• Support packaging management in client systems and follow up on reconciliations.

Required profile

• Degree in Graphic Design or Industrial Design.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in packaging design.
• Strong customer service orientation, analytical thinking and proactive teamwork.
