About the role
Stripe is looking for a People Consultant to help make the company a great place to work and grow. You will partner with leaders, managers, and employees across the organization to design and implement people‑focused systems, processes, and programs.
Key responsibilities
- Advise front‑line managers on performance management, coaching, career development, employee relations, leveling, and team effectiveness with an emphasis on belonging and inclusivity.
- Collaborate with People Partners (HRBPs) and legal counsel on organizational strategy, reorganizations, and compliance with local labor regulations.
- Facilitate rollout of key People programs such as performance review cycles, compensation cycles, employee engagement surveys, and ad‑hoc initiatives.
- Analyze organizational health trends, present insights to leaders, and track key people data to inform strategy.
- Ensure a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle, including departure processes.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 + years of HR experience, including 2–3 years in a client‑facing HR role (e.g., HR Business Partner, Employee Relations partner).
- Proven experience partnering directly with managers on performance management, coaching, and employee relations.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
