People & Culture Manager

About the role

We are seeking a high‑performance People & Culture Manager to protect and grow our most valuable asset – our team. This role is strategic and operational, focused on managing a global, fully remote workforce that operates 24/7.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a high‑performance remote culture, ensuring 24/7 engagement and connection.
• Design and deliver seamless onboarding and off‑boarding experiences for diverse roles.
• Collaborate with legal counsel to manage contractor agreements and ensure compliance across jurisdictions such as Canada and LATAM.
• Coordinate with the Web3 bookkeeper to process payroll, including digital‑asset compensation.
• Implement lightweight performance review systems focused on potential and KPI achievement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal communication, resolving friction and linking leadership with frontline staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in HR or People Operations, preferably in a high‑growth startup or Web3/tech environment.
• Strong understanding of remote‑first culture and proven ability to keep distributed teams engaged.
• Excellent emotional intelligence and conflict‑resolution skills in a digital setting.
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes and maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Web3 fundamentals and familiarity with digital‑asset compensation.
• Experience with global compliance and contractor management.
• Proficiency in remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, video conferencing).
