People Generalist – HR Operations (Mexico)

About the role

The People Generalist (Sales Market) will support the full people agenda for H&M’s Mexico Support Office. Working in a hybrid setting, you will execute HR processes, assist employees and managers, and help drive recruitment, onboarding, development, and engagement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute employee life‑cycle processes in line with group‑approved procedures.
• Coordinate and implement people initiatives and projects across business units.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to employees and managers, including basic employee‑relations matters and union negotiation assistance.
• Assist with employee engagement activities to improve workplace satisfaction.
• Manage recruitment activities, including assessment centers, onboarding for store management teams, and training delivery.
• Support performance‑management cycles, talent pipelines, and succession planning for department managers and sales advisors.
• Analyze HR metrics, prepare reports on headcount, turnover, training, and hiring, and track KPI outcomes linked to a fair working environment.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in HR operations or a generalist HR role.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities with high attention to detail.
• Good understanding of HR processes and the employee lifecycle.
• Ability to analyse data and produce accurate HR reports.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to collaboration, inclusion and continuous improvement.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
