People Relations Partner – Mexico

About the role

The People Relations Partner will support H&M’s Mexico operations by delivering consistent, compliant People Relations practices. Reporting to the People Relations Manager, this hybrid position focuses on labor law matters, employee case management, workplace wellbeing, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws, collective agreements and freedom of association principles.
• Develop and continuously improve local People Relations practices aligned with global frameworks.
• Build constructive relationships with employee representatives, works councils and unions.
• Provide expert advice on labor law, work environment, wellbeing and employee case management.
• Support managers in handling illness‑related cases, difficult conversations and coordination with case managers.
• Manage labor claims and disputes, including internal, administrative and judicial matters.
• Maintain the local grievance mechanism and ensure effective processes for employee complaints.
• Participate in change and strategic initiatives requiring People Relations expertise.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Mexican labor legislation and collective bargaining.
• Experience in employee case management, investigations and disciplinary processes.
• Ability to advise and train business leaders on People Relations matters.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
