Pharmacovigilance Project Manager (Home Based, CDMX)

About the role

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Pharmacovigilance Project Manager for a home-based position in Mexico City. Working in a sponsor-dedicated model, you will lead and oversee pharmacovigilance activities across clinical trials and post-marketing studies, coordinating drug safety delivery, resolving issues and developing team capability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of pharmacovigilance projects, including planning, execution and delivery, in line with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Develop and implement project plans covering timelines, budgets and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with clinical, regulatory and data management teams on safety monitoring activities.
• Oversee the collection, evaluation and reporting of adverse events, ensuring timely and accurate submission to regulators and sponsors.
• Provide strategic guidance, mentorship and training to pharmacovigilance teams.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and put in place mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field.
• Extensive pharmacovigilance or drug safety experience, with a strong understanding of safety reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Proven project management experience leading complex pharmacovigilance projects and cross-functional teams.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
